    Cotto said afterwards that he wanted to quit after the 11th round but was encouraged to try to finish the fight since there was one more round. Going into the 12th Cotto's was physically destroyed, mentally beaten, and was just in survival mode. Bayless knew Cotto had nothing left to give, and didn't want him taking anymore solid shots. Cotto or the Corner didn't complain. I was rooting for Cotto, and didn't have any problem with the stoppage.
