Kenny Bayless is only getting paid 25k to referee may-pac

He made $10k for Mayweather vs. Alvarez, this is a 250% increase over that and that was a big assignment.

I fail to see the issue. "Only 25k" shouldn't be a phrase associated with a ref's salary, no matter what the fight is. That is a huge sum.

 

in what way can Bayless ruin this fight? Disallow Manny to fight in the clinch? Whatever

and Bayless did a much better job than Tony Weeks who I normally think is a great ref. I wouldn't mind Weeks reffing this fight actually

 

I know, there's a part of me that says that as well... But he's got a good track record other than that. The judges worried me a bit at first, butI think overall, if you look at their decisions in the past other than that maidana fight, I'm okay with the entire crew.

Time will tell may 2.

Tony Weekes called that fight straight down the middle he let BOTH fighters fight their fight. Bayless was blatantly biased toward Floyd in the rematch

The good thing is Pac doesn't do much that would let Bayless interfere. He doesn't clinch or fight dirty.

 

The Floyd-Maidana fight performances & ridiculous scorecards are what got them the assignment.
