did any1 notice that about him hes such a edgey ref never letting em fight on the inside always quick to break an wen shane was tottering in round 8 from a mayweather shot bayless jumps in an stops the action who else noticed? hes the same guy who made gatti get sucka punched by the pbf uppercut 4 making edgey calls during rond 1 sum1 needs to sub him in future hes to nervous in there 4 me.
I got nothing bad to say about Bayless, he is one of the best if not the best referee out there. He did a great job last night.

So I'm scrollin' down readin' responses and as soon as I see a post that makes sense - which is few and far between - I immediately pan left to see who the author of said post is and more often than not today that author has been "Pimp C." yea its not like floyd was doing ricky hatton ****. Floyd was getting in there to work. he was too much in the way. if Floyd wants to get in there and Brawl with shane he should let him. Im not just talking bout round 8.
I thought he handled it brilliantly and they clearly had a lot of respect fro him they way they broke on command. Pity there aint more like him and maybe we wouldnt have to watch so many greco roman wrestling matches with gloves...
Bayless is probably the best ref around right now. He is clear, pretty fair, and most important of all? He is in shape enough to move around the ring and control the action properly. I do believe he was a bit "soft" on SSM for holding and he did save SSM's cookies once. The TS has a point. Still? I wouldn't want any other ref.
YES he was to involved glad u all agree yes he is a great ref but he was abit hasty in there an yes bald head slick he defo saved SSM's cookies in round 8 but gud to c he let it go wen him an floyd were arguing an the floyd punched him in the mouth during mid convo loool
I disagree with you a bit there though. I honestly feel that SSM was buying time by jaw-jacking, much like Gatti, and got his grill busted. There was nothing to talk about. SSM tried to bull FMJ over, got a hard warning for it, the ref broke them, they touched gloves... Time to get down with the get down. Why are you talking to me with your hands down? When FMJ gets in that ring he lives by the boxing #1 rule... Protect yourself at all times!
I agree although he sometimes can be a bit too chaotic/dramatic imo in his interferences/warnings. Like when Mosley was holding Floyd and pushing Floyd into the ropes: Bayless was screaming all loud and panicked while actually nothing serious was going on. He acted as if Mosley was almost going to break Floyd's arm or something.
Yeah I saw it, Mosely got rocked. Mosely ran toward the ropes and mayweather began to lunge forward to chase him, when mayweather lunged forward bayless stepped in and pushed back mayweather probably saving mosely from getting KO'ed
