I thought that whenever the two fighters got on the inside Bayless didn't let them work he just broke them up. I believe that Floyd was aggressive, pressed the issue, and was gunning for the stoppage !!

Actually, there was one point maybe in the 6th or 7th rd when Floyd landed some extremely hard shots on shane and shane stumbled toward the ropes (mind floyd helped him get there with a little push) and shane looked ready to go at the point, but Bayless separated them and gave Shane some recuperative time.

Hell yeah.. his dumb ass was jumping in the way too fast too many times. He would not allow any infighting at all. I was screaming at the TV in round 8 when he not only stopped the action but gave a bull**** speack to Floyd. "Noo pushing..." like he was a ******.

yeah.. I think that was the round I was thinking of. I have to admit Shane looked done right then and there.

Most definitely in the 8th round after mayweather landed a clean shot to the face mosley was stumbling into the ropes and mayweather went to attack him and bayless stepped in giving mosley enough time to get his feet set and prepare for mayweather's onslaught could've been a kd and later in the fight during the break brther nazim threatened to throw the towel a kd in the 8th would have surely influenced his decision.

but hey its the butterfly effect and it happens all the time in boxing.

Bayless is a gamblers ref. He was insuring the fight went as the bookies predicted. There was some **** with him that night. Mosley holding compulsively and no warnings at all.

seriously for a ref i hold high standards for Bayless did a real shitty job, he would constanly jump in and ALMOST break the fighters and mosley would stop punching to let the break happen and get caught with 1 or 2. i also hated how he took about 10 secs off every round after 9 to make them touch gloves. Bayless has proved hes a great ref but last night the dude most have been really anxious or some ****.

Kenny was trying to be "fair" but was actually killing FMJ's inside work. Mosley was holding on for dear life in there! LMAO!

Shane seemed more embarrassed than hurt.
I don't think Mayweather had him seriously hurt at any point in the fight enough to warrant a stoppage.

The worst part about it, Now that I think about more...
Mosley will rewatch the tape & convince himself he can still beat Floyd based on the 2nd rd.
(Don't be surprised if the rematch talks begin...)

I don't know about him preventing Floyd's KO... But I do know Bayless was WAY TOO FKN INVOLVED IN THE ACTION!!!

I used to like KB as a ref,,, but he was a real pain in the ass last night!
