Named Ring Magazine Prospect of the Year... Rattled off a serious string of KO wins and then just imploded.

What ni gods name happened to him?

..............Baysmore was just rushed, I think. Based on being taken out early in fights against Lockridge and Chavez, Mayweather was thought to have plummeted from respectability, but obviously this wasn't the case; he'd be a player for a few years yet. Baysmore's people found this out the hard way. Mayweather couldn't miss with his right, and knocked him kicking in the third. Baysmore never seemed to recover from that.

Have you ever seen Baysmore-Mayweather? Hopefully it can be found on youtube.

I also have had high hopes for certain prospects but some dont work out. Maybe they are rushed. This happened with Czyz and Johnny Verderosa. Mark Breland was the biggest bust. All that hype about his amateur record, his height and reach was for nought. He just wasnt strong enough to compete in the pros.

Breland was indeed not designed for the pro's, in comparrison to how great an amateur he was he didnt fullfill anywhere near the potential in the pros , but it didn't stop him doing some damage along the way, remember him and Honeyghan, Starling etc.... Great fights... Czyz... He fell down unfortunately on a big fight that he got a great start in, he knocked Mansfield Ohio's P C Williams over early then allowed the heavy handed Williams the luxury of nailing him with too many right hands.. His eye was so swoll and hurt at the later rounds that i remember him saying in the corner.. I just cant F***ing see the guy no mo.... That was ad to see, Chappie was great , but lost the return too and ended up fighting Holyfield in a fight he aught never have got involved in..

Baysmore, i certainly remember him, he was very good , but always mixed in exceptional company, way too early , i supposed one could say he was fed to the lions before his time.. That should be said of Tyrell Biggs too..
