The thump of Norton’s head hitting the canvas against Dempsey provides the basis for the ‘doof doof’ era.

 

Loses to all of them except Tunney and Johnson.

 

I’m not 100% sold on him beating Johnson. That guy had stamina and power and could linger in a ring until the next coming of Christ

 

Admittedly don't know much about Johnson but remember him having a very low output. He's gonna need more than that to keep Norton off him. Of course I could very well be wrong and often am.

 

I am probably most intrigued by Norton v Johnson amongst the whole bunch.

 

He would be competitive with virtually every champion who preceded him and would have whupped some of em.

 

I can’t see him making much of a fight of it against Dempsey or Liston, but to each his own.

 

Lennox would annihilate him. Anyone else he would have a good chance against.

He would lose to all of them for a variety of reasons he was in his perfect era and he wouldn’t hop in the DeLorean to go box.

 

Kenny gets KO’d by ALL of them.

 

Kenny would clown Dempsey and Tunney.
