This is funny. Norton would look like Meldrick Taylor matched against Fury. He matched quickness, reflexes and Ring IQ with Ali and look good doing it.
I doubt Fury is gonna get credit from the judges for moving and getting his jab blocked.

If Kenny were to win, it's his superior conditioning and body shots that get the job done. But I do not like his footwork against any of the champs. And if he did win, we are talking a short title reign.

And I think even Povetkin gets him out of there in an entertaining fight. Povetkin is the rare breed with the ability to throw a picture perfect left uppercut and I just don't see Norton's defense handling it. Or, his whiskers.Plus that sneaky left hook. Real good fight to see and I just like Povetkin's toughness to weather the storms.

I think Kenny and his footwork take to long to get set up against Fury. By the time he sets his feet, Fury has turned him and pecked away with punches. I just ddon't think hee can land enough of those looping right hands to the body or head to win enough rounds.

Wilder and especially Joshua bomb him out of there. Kenny is not walking into their punches and that coming forward style eats a big shot

I think Kenny does much better a decade or 15 years ago---guys like Ruiz. Brewster. Valuev.

I remember reading Ken Norton saying one of his biggest regrets in his career was not lifting weights. With today's advances with Sports Science the real question is how much would Norton advanced with access to this knowledge ?

Lol why would Ken Norton need to be 10 pounds heavier? Ken Norton was roughly 6'3 220. Which means he weighed more than Deontay Wilder. Evander Holyfield was 6'1 and 205 and could still beat guys Riddick Bowe sized. You know why? Because once you are 205 pounds you a heavyweight. Most of the heavyweights today are just out of shape or on PED's. Ken Norton with his frame could of weighed 270 pounds and had man boobs but most fighters from that era tried to be in shape.

Anyway Ken Norton was stopped 4 times in his career. 3 of those to massive punchers in George Foreman, Earnie Shavers, and Gerry Cooney. Against Shavers and Cooney he was past his prime. Joshua has a shaky chin and far less skill than Ken Norton. Tyson Fury is a joke. That fact that people still keep talking about how great he is shows how many casual boxing fans there are. Tyson Fury running from a old Wlad Klitschko and landing 86 punches in 12 rounds isn't impressive. Running from a overrated hype job like Deontay Wilder and only landing 84 punches in 12 rounds isn't questionable. Tyson Fury has a poor chin. Which is why he runs. If a 180 pound light punching Steve Cunningham could knock him down with one punch and almost stopped him then Ken Norton would stop him.

Deontay Wilder could get lucky and stop Norton but I would say 9 out of 10 times Norton would stop him. Joseph Parker, Dillian Whyte, don't have the skill to pose much of a threat to a prime Ken Norton. He most likely would beat them unless they got lucky and caught him.

Fury sure. But Joshua is too big and seems to be fine with fighters who come in the way Norton does.

Whenever we talk about Norton being a great fighter, it's almost always his showings against boxers. I don't even think Norton would have made it three rounds against Liston, Louis, Mike, or Frazier in any of their primes.

Kenny just couldn't seem to decrypt really heavy puncher's styles. That said, he might be one of the top 20 heavyweights ever, even if it is mostly for his heart and defense. Just my opinion.

Cro Magnon is way more recent than that, and they were shorter than modern people. Plus it just refers to populations in europe, so they were never the only people either.
