Could Dokes have pulled off an upset win over Norton..?
He had Nice hand speed in his prime and even a faded version gave Holyfield hell.

Norton of the first Ali fight
Dokes of the first Weaver fight?

    Anyone picking Dynamite Dokes?

    Good selection,Fergy.

Dokes builds up an early lead evading then accurately countering a lot of Norton's shots, but around the middle of the fight Ken's persistence begins paying off. A tiring Michael is starting to get caught by Ken and is repeatedly being backed up to the ropes where the Norton overhand right is scoring heavily.

    Norton by clear decision.

    Cheers Stevie mate.
That sounds very much as I see it.
Competitive in part s, with Norton getting a decision.

Dokes could win, but never truly developed, like a lot of his compatriots in the 80's time period. He would start out fast, definitely taking the early rounds, but mid-fight, Ken takes over, and wins a very competitive decision.

Norton wins by late stoppage Dokes doesn't have the stamina to survive in deep waters vs Norton.

Unless Dokes catches Norton early and blitz's him which is unlikely as Dokes wasn't a big puncher although he was a fast starter.

But overall Norton by stoppage I'll go with 11th round.
