Iwata taking his time, sliding into range, landing jabs here and there. Rene has his jab on track, not much on them though. Iwata lands a decent uppercut, then lands a compact right. Iwata stalking, startng to land one twos, then a left hook.

 

Nerdman though that was a Santiago round, because he flicked out his fruity powder puff jab a few times, while he ignored all of the thudding power punches Iwata landed.

Rene starting to sit down on his jab a little more, looping in rights occasionally, Iwata unfazed. Iwata picking up the aggression, starting to land hoks to the body. He's also blocking the one twos on his high guard, Rene wants to hold. Now landing hard rights over the top. He's ducking down low, looping them in, clips Rene, who freaks out and holds desperately. Rene lands a right, Iwata with some body shots.

Iwata jabbing more, starting to usher him around the ring, Rene landing flurries on occasion. Iwata jabbing and landing overhand rights. Rene to his credit is standing his ground here and there, Iwata lands to the body and hurts him. Rene with an uppercut. Flicking out the jab. Iwata gets him along the ropes, thuds some thuding rights and to the body. Brutal jab snaps Rene's head back then a right.

Iwata literally charging after him at this point, pinning him on the ropes, bashing him with heavy rights to the skull. Rene tries to hold, Iwata boxes his jaws in hold. Iwata backs him to the ropes late lunges in with a right.
