Kenshiro Teraji (now 18-0 10KOs) notched his eighth defence of his WBC light flyweight title with a lopsided win over the Chisora of their division in Tetsuya Hisada (now 34-11-2 20KOs), knocking him down in the second round in the process. The final scores were 118-109 X2 and 119-108. Daigo Higa's (now 17-2-1 17KOs) protracted downfall continues unfortunately. He lost a clear decision to Ryosuke Ishida (now 4-0 1KOs) in a fight for the WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight title by scores of 117-111 X2 and 118-110.
Kenshiro looked sharp, seemed very emotional afterwards, and it was clear the win meant so much after what happened last year. As for Higa, he was schooled. Nishida (Nishida not Ishida), looked brilliant and has had two very good wins back to back.
