The Japanese is coming to the end of his reign, he is taking a lot of hits in his last three fights, the question arises. He will make his 14th world championship defense soon. It will have only partially unified the category, 2 belts out of 4 (5 if we count the IBO belt). Do you think Kenshiro Teraji is in the top 5 in the history of the lightflyweight division?
Never say this again you ****ing heathen. That being said, the division has a deep history but he has a solid case for top 5. He is without a doubt in the top 10. And we could see him try to unify again soon, fingers crossed.
If he manages to win the other two titles and become undisputed, he could have a case for a position in the top five based on accomplishments. But even that is hard to say, since he is probably the third best light flyweight in the last 25 years. I wouldn't favor him to beat prime Gonzalez or Nietes.
Not sure about Top 5 best Light Flyweight but he'll most likely squeeze in as one of the best fighters of that weight class. Humberto Gonzalez Jung Koo Chang Roman Gonzalez Ivan Calderon Hilario Zapata Michael Carbajal Myung Woo Yuh Ricardo Lopez Yoko Gushiken Donnie Nietes Jorge Arce
