Solis lunging a lot, and missing. Takuma attempting counters, and missing. Solis digs to the body a little. Another head clash. Nice combo from Inoue. Solis flurries back. Inoue nails him with a one two. Nice right late from Inoue late.

    115-113 Inoue

It was definitely closer than the judges implicate. On paper this reads as a comfortable W for Inoue, which it was not.

Scores tad bit wide, but the right man won. Inoue is now the sole champion at 118 pounds (for now at least). Based on this performance he may be the weak link at bantamweight. The other bantamweight fights are: Rodriguez-Lopez, Donaire-Santiago, Moloney-Astrolabio, all competitive fights with clear favorites. I wouldn't favor Takuma against the likes of Rodriguez, Donaire and Moloney.

As for Solis, tough luck. Fifth unsuccessful attempt to win a belt at bantamweight, four of those were for the WBA belt. The other was against Yamanaka for the WBC belt.

If Nasukawa doesn't move down in weight to try and make history, then I wouldn´t mind Inoue vs Ishida.

If it makes you feel any better, my spidy senses are tingling as far as an upset is concerned with this matchup. Only thing that concerns me is the fact that Olascagua doesn\'t jab frequently, and Teraji\s consistent jab might allow him to bank rounds. But the challenger throws hard and fast and could drag Teraji into the trenches for sure. 50/50 fight for me.

    I just got an erection.:sisi1

The lack of a jab does bother me as well, but I think he'll be able to stay on the inside consistently enough that he can negate Ken's altogether.
