Does he have any fights against non-cans yet?

    The full match vs Cosio

Lejarrage got rocked briefly in the 2nd by a rabbit punch and subsequent left hook after having gone down and he definitely looked vulnerable in spots but nice composure and finish afterwards

    Mmmmm

I've had mixed feelings about lejarraga since the first time I watched him fighting. Usually I can tell if a fighter has margin for improvement or not, but with kerman I cant tell it. If he can improve more, he will be good enough to be in the boxing map, if not, he wont (captain obvious). Up to now he's doing fine. As I said, he's a weird fighter imho, he looks like having more than he shows, but at the same time I feel that he hasnt. Let's see if the kid can make his way to the top, and lets enjoy watching his fights.

He's not still ready to fight any not-a-can fighter though. He needs some more fights. But that's a CST80 post about new talents, so that's normal, if not, he wouldnt be in this post.

He reminds me a bit to nico gonzález, but a bit better. Nico being a bit more of a ko artist and kerman being a more rounded fighter. Kind of the same style, kind of, I repeat, kind of, not the same.

Brilliant post.... I stumbled across him a while ago whilst scouring boxrec for potential Sam Eggington opponents (not in a official capacity just as a fight fan)

Interesting to watch some of the videos, often a record can be misleading - especially with high levels of stoppages against unknown fighters.

Thanks! More of the same please mate!

Lejarraga's most recent fight.. a domestic title fight in front of a crowd of 11,000! He's developing a big following in Spain.

Its not going to be a pretty sight when Skeete is slipping and sliding all over the ring on his dangling colon.

Really think he can consistently land? Maybe one big one here and there, but putting combinations on a fighter as elusive as Skeete is nigh impossible... He's shown genuinely impressive defensive ability & movement before, and I can't get him battering the huge at the weight full steam ahead Sam Eggington a few years ago...

I'm still mulling it over, but I do think Kerman is more technically sound than Sam, so he will most likely do at least a little better.

Bookies have a ton of respect for him, like I already mentioned. 2-1 is hardly a mismatch or anything. It points to an extremely close fight.

Yes. It's in Spain, Kerman is better technically than the Egg, he can definitely win 4-5 rounds which may well be enough.

    Wow!!!

After destroying Skeete, something tells me Conor Benn vs Kerman Lejarraga won't be made anytime soon. :sisi1
