    Round 7

Lejarraga is snapping out jabs into the guard, knocking Avanesyan off-balance even when they're picked off, as he vacuums most of them into his left palm and then after tossing Lejarraga's fist away tries converting the parry into his own offensive opportunity, but Lejarraga is catching all of his jabs on the wrists and banging him on the body leaning over to his side. Avanesyan is having success with the uppercut when he steps diagonally in while both of Lejarraga's arms remain in out-stretched flux during his predictable and telegraphed 1-2s.

    10-9 Lejarraga, close

    68-64 Lejarraga

KL looking much slower than normal and less explosive. Maybe the event got in his head before the fight? But he looks slow, lethargic, is instant messaging -- let alone telegraphing -- his punches, and is throwing way too many singular shots. He looks way sloppier than normal too, big letdown so far from him. He needs to calm himself, regroup and refocus, sharpen up, and finish this game and brave challenger.

I am not jumping the gun too early. I watched a lot of Lejarraga, probably last 5-6 fights and he's nothing special. He was overrated because he KTFO Skeete early. He was outboxed by Frankie Gavin ffs. His defense is **** and he hasn't even faced a real puncher yet. He's ready for a brutal KO. Not today, he might win this one on points or late stoppage, but his defense isn't above European level (even that is questionable). And his power too. He has a nice style but lacking some fundamental defensive skills you should have if you want to fight at world level.

Kerman comes out like a bat out of hell and beats the living **** out of David. Kerman hurts him to the boy, David hurts him with a counter left hook to the head. Kerman back on him, pounding his guts in.

    Round 8

Lejarraga is pounding the body until Avanesyan decides to surge off the ropes with a jab and hook into the jaw leaping forward. More vicious body shots by Lejarraga. Avanesyan is walked into the ropes and now arches his back, leaving his head suspended below Lejarraga's, hovering just in front of his chest, ripping counter uppercuts. Both men are warned to watch their noggins on the inside. Big body attack from Lejarraga. Avanesyan spending lots of time in a ball, just soaking up hard left hooks downstairs. When he does break formation, he rocks Lejarraga with counter uppercuts and looping rights. Good action with a minute left. Heads bump together, and Avanesyan has a cut. Lejarraga is walking forward and getting dissected by jabs, hooks, and looping rights. Avanesyan countering very smoothly on the backfoot and sitting down on his punches, letting Lejarraga walk to him. Lejarraga throws a big hooking flurry late, but almost all blocked.

10-9 Avanesyan, super close (Lejarraga won the first half, Avanesyan the second)

    77-74 Lejarraga

KL just ATE every ounce of a DA short, sharp, compact uppercut from hell, I mean he couldn't have landed more accurately or timed it better and KL seemed momentarily buzzed. If it were som, eone with more power than DA who landed that, it'd been a wrap
