    Jesus another ****ing upset, this year is murder for up and coming prospects. Sad to see it because I like watching Lejarraga a lot but his one-dimensional style caught up to him and Avanesyan fought a brilliant fight

    His defence is leaky,he is quite predictable and one-dimensional,quite slow,too.But so is Lebedev.He has power in his fists and is a physically strong fighter whose body shots truly hurt.No walk in the park for no one imo.

    Lejarraga is looking to shred the body, leaning forward. Avanesyan still has the nice combos dialed in, countering in threes and fours built off the jab, landing a ton of clean head shots as Lejarraga completely ignores defense, willing to absorb several punches just to get in one lick on the body, unfortunately not damaging Avanesyan enough, Lejarraga now backed up, all the way into a corner, hurt, Avanesyan teeing off, blasting him with both hands, and the ref comes in!!

    I like him too, he has a nice style but the hype around him was a bit too much IMO. They all talked about moving to the US and giving absolutely ZERO credit to Avanesyan who is a really solid boxer. Lesson learned for team Lejarraga.

    I wasn't quite as high on him as you, but I liked him too. Silver lining I'd say is that at least he didn't lose to a bum. Ava has always been a solid guy (cherry pick gone wrong for shot to bits SSM, and gave Peterson a difficult night - really only ever dominated by Kavaliauskas), and he fought his ass off in the performance of his career today.

    Not really, no one gave much of a **** about in my estimation. He barely gets mentioned on here. He's well known to us though, I can't stand David though, I actually hate seeing him be the man to pull off the upset.

    Well, he certainly lacks Lebedev"toughness .Anyway! He is fun to watch due to his entertaining style.I am sad that the basque people cant celebrate another victory of their hero
