Guerra looks like a decent prospect, very good first round as a pro here. Working the jab, landing a couple of 1,2 combinations, fast hands. Nikolov landed one good right hand during the round but apart from that he was constantly on the backfoot.

A big right hand to the body drops Nikolov, he looks hurt, covering the body, Guerra lacking a bit the killer instinct but it's his first pro fight so no big deal, he is doing it well so far. Another good body shot from Guerra to the middle section a couple of seconds before the bell.

A big 1,2 combination from Guerra dropping Nikolov for the second time, WOW, this was a big shot from Guerra. Nikolov with "no mas", the ref stops the fight.

 

Christopher Mena vs Antonio Gomez 6 rounds @ middleweight

 

This is actually a rematch, both met two years ago and fought to a draw. While Gomez hasn't fought since then Mena stayed active with a 1-1 record.

Mena landing the bigger and cleaner shots, he looks good, a crafty southpaw with solid boxing skills, good defense and head movement. Gomez finished the round strong with a couple of shots but Mena won the first round.

Gomez starting really aggressive landing a huge combination, Mena focusing on the jab afterwards, working more calm and from the distance. Mena showed some deccent counterpunching skills, he has a game plan and is following it. Gomez with a high activity this round, landing not everything clean but looking much better than in the first round. Gomez threwing a wonderful combination, Gomez nearly taking a knee but he can save himself, a couple of seconds later he is landing also a good combination. Very entertaining round.

Unreal activity from Gomez, he is outpointing Mena easily here as Mena is almost without a defense for the entire round, he ate some nasty shots but didn't look hurt or rocked but still Gomez is outworking him with a high work rate, great round from Gomez, very accurate. Mena countering from time tom time but this isn't enough.

Very, very close round. Almost impossible to score it for one as Mena is working more accurate and Gomez still having a higher work rate but not that accurate this time as Mena is moving better and avoiding a lot of shots. Gomez landing harder shots, so maybe he took the round on the judges scorecards.

Mena isn't doing much tbh, he is trying to counter while Gomez is on the frontfoot and working his ass off.

Mena slipping with one leg outside the ring, very bad looking situation but he is fine. Mena very strong and aggressive with a high activity, something he missed in the last round, Gomez isn't landing as much as before as Mena is very agile and working, working. Very good round from Mena who finishes the fight in a good way. Close fight, good fight, another draw is definitely possible but i have Gomez up here due to an enormous activity.

Oertel having a serious size advantage here and using it while working the jab from the distance, Valtierra trying to pressure Oertel towards the corner and the ropes and it works but he isn't landing there.
