This will the Basque slugger's rebound fight after losing his EBU welterweight title (and his zero) to David Avanesyan in March. This might be a mistake, as the Mexican is a very hard puncher himself, and teak-tough, with more experience against high-level opposition.

If this goes ten it will be a bloody war of attrition. No cutie pie stuff here.

Yeah this is a VERY ballsy (remains to be seen whether overly ambitious) choice of comeback opponent, IMO.

its good he isnt fighting a featherfist to reload his career. he doesnt seem like a guy whose going to stay around for long, he wants it over and done with as fast as possible, just like his style of fighting. probably wont be fighting in 2-3years he'd be retired by then i imagine. earn his money and get out.

He's basically Kostya Tszyu with more power and less skill.

A lot less skill and debatable on the power but I like him. I overrated him too, it seems, shocked he got beat last time. If his Mexican opponent is as good as you say he is, unfortunately he'll probably get beat again. You need an ' easy touch ' after a loss like that.

So if Judah can get past Celdin why not make Tszyu/Judah II? Judah deserves his shot at redemption! Even if it's nearly 2 decades later.

I don't want to be pedantic, but Kerman's second surname is Arana not Araña, araña is spider in Spanish, it would be a good alias since he has lethal power but poor defense. Anyways I'm always rooting in favor of boxers like Kerman who let everything in the ring and are always coming forward

Thanks for clarifying, I did know that araña is spider - I believe in both Spanish and Portuguese? It was Anderson Silva's nickname in the UFC as well - but I generally err on the side of assuming that English-language media has omitted diacritics in foreign names. I'll fix my title now.

You are welcome. I think that in Portuguese it must be aranha since they don't use the word "ñ". Yes, I know, they omit ñ and accent marks, especially on Boxrec, so it might be difficult to know when a name or a surname is written correctly
