I think he climbed into the ring weighing 145, only 3 or 4 pounds off what he weighed in the ring against Oscar and Hatton. And if i remember correctly Marquez was at 141.

Pac-man was actually 106 and only 16 years old but his walk around has been 150 something for several years. To me, he actually looked gaunt in his lighter fights. It could be that a combination of starting very young, robust bones and having a will power to train in a gauntish condition has allowed him to stay cut as his weight increases. High quality proteins foods like whey or even fish can also bulk up muscles.

That said, I believe a lot of fighters are using roids and would be very tempted to incorporate the muscle and mental advantages that roids provide. Oh an Cintron seems to be a real expert on them:hey

How do you think steroids work????

For your information, what steroids does is allow your body to recover faster from an exhaustive workout.

You just dont take steroids and it just magically make you better........you still have to work your ass off to reach the the physical condition you want to achieve.

Athletes who use steroids do so so that they can work out longer and achieve more intense workouts.

.....I'm just saying it to those of you who would simply dismiss and say, "Pacquiao does'nt take steroids, he just works his ass off in the gym and has all these kinds of intense regimens."

.......its exactly so that you can achieve this type of training regimen that Athletes consider taking steroids to begin with.

The reason for taking steroids to enhance performance is to allow you to achieve longer and more intense workouts.

Steroids help you body recover during and after workouts, so that you can train more intensely, and recover quicker to start another workout.

3 main steroids. testosterone for mass and strength causes water retention. deca for lean muscle mass and it helps increase speed and stamina. tren is a straight up fat burner. pac is likely using a type of deca.

I've seen Team Pac's nutrition/conditioning people give Manny some protein shakes after his morning jogs and workouts.

That could be the reason, aside from suicide training wokrates, of his building up muscles and becoming a better fighter.

I don't know why Floyd and Cintron are trying to discredit other fighters. It's not good for boxing. Are they jealous or what? If they have proof that's fine but otherwise, they are just making the sport look bad. Cintron shouldn't be the one to talk because he himself has been taking performance enhancing drugs, or maybe that's why he thinks others are taking them.

He's still in the mid to high 140s when he unofficially (and that may be with or without shoes, with or without a shirt, etc...) on fight night.

Not much change, he's just cutting less weight now.

    145 for Marquez 2.
