He has no heart like i said a while ago and i knew margarito would beat him, Check my thread i made and you'll see
This is BS IMO. I'll punch you in the stomach if you don't believe how bad a body shot can be. Cintron fought a good fight, brawled with Margarito, landed some, took a lot and still fought back bravely. But you can't get up from a body shot like that. Weak mentally? Total bullsh*t.
What I hate most about Cintron is that he starts ducking and starts taking punches to the back of the head and uppercuts. Margo walking through his best punch ruined him mentally in this fight. Also, his cut did not help him mentally. He just didn't know what to do. He wasn't listening to his corner either.
That's true but I doubt many could take his power at 147. In fact, other than Margo who else could take flush shots from Cintron without getting dropped at welterweight? Probably Baldomir if he was still at 147 but I can't really think any except maybe Mosley.
I already posted that over and over and over long long time ago. That's why I said he'll never make it past Margarito. :yep
He got brutalized and essentially quit. Yeah that body shot was significant but he got out of what could have won him the fight, jabing and throwing bombs from the outside and cliching Margo when he got inside. It was Margo's pressure that got him out of it so yeah I guess he is mentally weak.
You know, I'm going to agree here to a point. The outcome wasn't all that different, but his attitude in there tonight was something his fans should take some pride in. He gave as good as he got for about three rounds, then took his beating like a man until his body gave out. This was not the guy from two years ago who was silently begging his corner to give him a way out. At the same time, it would have shown me MORE mental toughness if he'd been able to follow through with a plan B once plan A didn't work. Cintron is what he is, a hard punching good athlete with a very straightforward skill set.
I was very surprised that he even wanted this fight again. Did this fight turn out exactly as Manny expected it to?
