Jesse Feliciano showed a hard heart against Kermit , taking his to deep water on a fight that Kermit seems to re-gress from were he was....

    I was extremelly dissapointed....

I wont buy into Cintron until he's back in trouble the way Margarito had him to see what he does. It wasnt a punch that stopped him in that fight...it was a mental breakdown that wouldnt allow him to continue. He couldve kept going but didnt want to. Not the sign of a champ...just a puncher.

Feliciano is a tough fighter. He wanted to win the IBF title tonight and it showed.

That said, Kermit has the great equalizer. He can change a fight with one left hook or one right hand. However, what this fight did show is that he can be outworked and he would have a tough time with a good pressure fighter who can get inside. Margarito would stop him again and Cotto would stop him too.

A tough fight, Feliciano took his chance, but Cintron was the better puncher.
    Cintron is a real champ.

He only imploded during the Margo fight after being hurt in the 3rd round and going down in the 4th. Before that he was holding his own so it just probably means that he is mentally weak and can't handle adversity from someone that has enough power and technique to hurt him and yet he can't knock out or hurt back immediately. It's a good thing that Feliciano dude didn't have a lot of power or that high of a workrate or Cintron would have been in trouble tonight. I'm convinced now that Williams would absolutely demoralize and stop him/make him quit again tossing 100 punches a round at Kermit.

The Mrgo fight, if you watch closely Margo didn't really hit any devastating punches in fact he missed all the punches before Kermit desided to seat down on the canvas...

You are referring to the 5th round. I am talking about him getting nailed in the 3rd then dropped in the 4th. Those were hard punches. I suggest you watch the fight again to refresh your memory of the proper sequence of events.

I saw traces of the old Kermit mental lapses on this fight..when Feliciano pounded him repeatedly on the clinches with head shot, he stood there and took the dam things, it was like he was on daze...

Kermit needs to understnad that he will meet boxers that he will noit be able to KO and they will be able to take his punches, and handle his power, at this point he will need to rely on his boxing skills, he once agains, like on the Margo fight , got into a daze and catatonic state when a boxer Jesse keep tooking his power punches...

This was his wakeup call that not everyone he fights, and not even everyone who should, will go down on the first, second, or tenth huge shot. Feliciano did himself and Cintron a favor tonight, even though it looks bad in the immediate aftermath.

I do like how Manny has him working the jab. Now he's just got to settle Kermit down psychologically, the same way he did with Wlad. Williams is a tall order, but you have to step up some time.

No doubt being trained by Steward will help his boxing intelligence but I always thought that his original team did a pretty good job of training and managing Cintron. They always gave the proper advice between rounds etc. so it was a little disloyal of Kermit to dump all of them after 23 successful fights and one loss due to stepping up in class. It almost seems to me that Cintron likes using excuses and putting the blame on everyone for his own failures except himself. He should just come out and admit that he got an ass whooping by Margo and lost to the better man that night instead of blaming his team, his hand, his personal problems etc etc. Now he goes around interviews saying that loss was a fluke and is erased because it's ancient history like it never happened. I'll believe it when he steps in with Margarito again or Williams but now he allegedly has a phantom hand injury out of the blue after looking bad against journeyman Feliciano. Makes one wonder......
