maybe Cintron was not very good as the Margarito fights showed, but Vargas was a little overrated. Wright was not yet fighting well when he fought Vargas and Quartey? He was never a HOF fighter. Vargas was too easy to hit and had a shaky chin.

Vargas would KO Cintron no doubt.

Vargas had elite skills, elite resume, and devastating power.

His problem is that he just fought three legends within his first 5 yaers as pro, and beat one of them.

How many fighters fight 3 legends in their first five years?

What would happen top Cintron, Cotto, Clottey if they fought 3 guys the caliber of Tito, ODLH and Winky, not counting the other top fighters he fought in between like Quartey, Marquez, and Campas.

People tend to forget how good Vargas was.

Fernando would have dfinitely beat Cintron, unless Cintron landed that lucky punch.

I have always been a big fan of Fernando, how could you not be he wore his heart on his sleeve!

The Quartey fight was his signature win, impressive.

Hell, I don't think the "lucky punch" would be enough. Tito needed about five or six of his Sunday best to get the job done.

Yes but quartey is still a pretty good boxer. Quartey is better than anybody cintron has face including plaster master margocheato.

To be honest with you I thought Wright got screwed, I had him winning 8-4. Any way Vargas beats the **** out of Cintron.

Prime Vargas was on a diferent level compared with Cintron and he would beat him without much trouble.
