Kermit Cintron vs. Cory Spinks coming this fall?

This would be a great fight.

I agree I would also take Cintron,maybe even by decision.Spinks has clearly showed he is past his prime last time out.
Cintron can box and punch.

 

I'd say cintron Spinks didn't show anything he used to have in his last fight.

SUPERFLY YOU MUST BE HIGH (nice rhyme, huh?). Cory Spinks is as boring as dried dog****. I hope Cintron goes in and takes his head off. Much better fight for Cintron than rematch with Sergio Martinez. Its time for the new(er) to replace the older

Spinks might be boring but on his day he can box very well. He will definitely make Cintron look bad if his defence still what it was (which i doubt it is)

 

Going against the grain here...if this is at light middle, Kermit's power is not a proven commodity carried up from welter. While Cory in recent fights has adopted a fan-friendlier stand-in-the-pocket style (likelier due more to the erosion of his athleticism than to him giving a **** what the hoi polloi think) he still doesn't have a bad chin...in fact I'd say he has a damn good one. Call me crazy, but Spinks' recently refined infighting abilities will win him this fight. Kermit doesn't like when you're up in his chest, and Spinks will be there going to work all night. Without distance to extend his power shots, Cintron is screwed. Cory is above all else a smart fighter - that's something that doesn't erode with age. He'll know how to win this, and he'll do it. In terms of talent, experience and ring IQ these two aren't even close.

 

I refuse to watch a cory spinks fight since the Taylor fight so I have no clue what he has left but if he's anything like he was before he should be able to outbox cintron. And scratch and fondle his way to a boring ass decision that will leave you wishing you hadn't just wasted an hour of your life watching it.

You've missed a complete 180 degree change. I'm serious. Go watch Spinks-Phillips (even if you've always hated NextGen, his valiant effort and the bogus decision will tug at your heartstrings...you will melt...). He put a toe-to-toe beating on slugger Deandre Latimore in his last fight. Check it out.

 

:yep:yep very funny. But I doubt Cintron will take his head of. Spinks has a great chin and an even better defence. He might not be able to run but he still knows how to hold, duck and roll :hey I doubt cintron hits harder than taylor :nono

 

I find it hard to believe but I guess it's worth a look.
