according to boxrec these two are "getting it on" !

    so, what do you think???

    me.....i ****ing hate it!!!

cintron is considered to be a "player" at 147. but after getting the "five dollar ***** treatment" from margo, cintron has yet to fight a contender!!
and that includes him winning the WBA belt by beating unkown suarez.

his first defense was vs another unkown who´s claim to fame was getting the crap pounded out of him by paul williams.

and now feliciano. feliciano is nothing but a blown up jr. welter journeyman whos style wont allow him to have even the slightest chance. NOT THE SLIGHTEST!!!!!

people say that cintron was somewhat "reborn" under trainer steward.

i say he wasn´t reborn, he is just matched super soft so he can look good. like vs the wide open feliciano.

i bet steward knows there is something terribly wrong with cintron.
otherwise he wouldn´t overprotect him in this rediculous manner.

it's just a tuneup to keep Cintron sharp and his confidence high...nothing wrong with that if your last 3 fights are Margarito, Estrada, and Matthysse...

the only problem is that those are not his last three fights!!!

cintron has been tuning up ever since the margo fight. and now he is tuning up some more.

is it too much to ask for him to fight a real contender?

Cintron is a fraud, there were talks of him fighting SSM but he and Manny wanted no part of that, haters bad mouth RJJ and PBF for thier comp which was pretty good but nuthug and praise hype jobs like Cintron and Margo who fight nothing but green prospects and overrated C class fighters.

overlooking his record, i couldnt find a single win over a real top ten contender!!!

the only top ten guy he fought made him cry like a baby.

I would like to see Cintron fight either Collazo or Cotto...although Feliciano is not a pushover.

It is a keep busy fight and Jesse is the sort of guy you face.

As I said pure hype, he went life and death with Estrada before he KO'd him in round 10, not every fight has to be against elites but the guy is a belt holder and is supposed to be elite so he should be fighting the Judahs, Baldos, Clotteys and Collazos of the division but he won't because he is both hype and a bigger fraud than Margo ever was.

I'd like to see Cintron in with Williams, Margorito, Clottey, Julio, etc. However, I see nothing wrong with this fight. I read Steward wants to take this fight and then get back in the ring again in Nov/Dec. After being inactive for a while, him staying busy makes a lot of sense. So staying active against a guy like Feliciao isn't a bad thing at all.Besides Estrada and Saurez aren't bad fighters, Matthyse might be average with a padded record but with a ko % like that he did pose some risk. But come early 08 Cintron does need to start seeking out the elite though. A lot of the dust should have settled in the division and he'll have plenty of tough options. Besides Cintron-Feliciano might be enjoyable while it lasts.

I agree, I'm predicting his next fight to be with Paul Williams. Perhaps in Dec.

Feliciano is not a walk-over opponent. In his last three fights, he beat Vince Phillips, drew with Alfonso Gomez and knocked out Delvin Rodriguez. Not bad at all.

All the big name fighters are fighting. Cintron needs to stay busy. And you know damn well that Margarito and Williams will be a taking a break after the slugfest they just had and wont be fighting for at least 4 to 5 months to heal up. Cinton on the other hand is only taking 8 weeks in between fights.
