Kermit Cintron vs Roberto Garcia

Garcia hits about 10x harder, and unlike Cintron has a sturdy chin. It isn't as simple as that, however.

Garcia is one of the slowest boxers alive.

He's veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow.


Cintron falls in love with his own power at times and isn't always the smartest fighter, but he does have the ability to use movement and not get hit clean while pitching a boring pot shot shutout.

Ridiculous comment. The last time Cintron knocked somebody out was Jesse Feliciano, five years ago. Garcia is no defensive wizard and has taken flush shots from Freddy Hernandez (another supremely powerful but slow guy) Carson Jones, Antwone Smith, and Calvin Odom (the journeyman who almost dealt Wale Omotoso a KO1 a while back) and never even been slightly shaken.

I don't think Cintron will have the balls to offer anything remotely like that, assuming he's done any scouting on Garcia whatsoever.

Cintron by frustrating jab-and-run or jab-and-grab UD if he can get away with it, Garcia by spectacular out-cold 1-punch KO if he can't. (after several rounds of being shut out on the cards by frustrating jab-and-run or jab-and-grab tactics from Kermit)

 

I was beginning to wonder what happened to Cintron, thought he would've retire after his poor performance against Canelo.

 

Poor performance against Canelo which should have been his fourth consecutive loss (he got a gift over Antwone Smith IMO)

That was the very definition of a flash knockdown. It was due to balance more than anything.

 

it was a flush right hand , Garcia left his jab out there and Margarito threw a combanation right left right Garcia went down not because it was a flash knock down but because it was a solid clean shot, not thunderous but clean and if you get hit clean on this level thats going to happen
