Trice wins.More skilled and actually his chin wasn't that bad.Check out his 14 round war with Simon Brown.He took some heavy shots.
Kermit knocks Trice out in the mid to late rounds. Trice don't hit as hard as a loaded up Margarito, Paul Williams, or Alfredo Angulo, and Kermit is naturally bigger and stronger than Simon Brown was, who Kod Trice twice.
Never said Cintron was better than Simon Brown, just bigger and stronger. Anyway, the question was about Kermit vs. Tyrone Trice, not Simon Brown. I just never was that impressed with Tyrone Trice, and I think having been stopped 5 times, Cintron has a good chance of stopping him.
Its one thing to be big and strong...its another to have the balls to use it and the skills to back it up. Trice was chinny...but he wasnt the mental midget Cintron is. Poor old Kermit would have folded like a deck chair if he was forced to endure the punishment Trice stood up to against Brown...who is a far better welter than Cintron ever was, regardless of size. Kermit is a decent chance of getting a knockout victory if they fought 10 times...but Id put my money on the Butterfly to get the W more often then not.
:deal You beat me too, this is exactly what i was gonna say in regards to his chin. Trice ko 7 this would be a great fight and competetive early on but eventually Trice comes thru tougher and bigger balls.
