It seemes that alot of people beleive that Miguel Cotto's loss to Antonio Margarito should be a "win" because he may have used illeagle hand wraps aganst Shane Mosley and in theory aganst Cotto as well. However I do not hear people questioning the results of either Antonio Margarito/Kermit Cintron bouts. Other than his two losses to Margarito Cintron is undefeeted 32 (28)-0-1. If people are going to give Cotto credit because Margrito might have used illigal hand wraps against him because of what was found after Margarito fought Mosley. Why not give Cintron credit as well?
Difference is Cotto gave Margarito a boxing lesson for most of their fight, whereas Cintron was getting outworked and generally had no real answer to Margarito's style and crucially, Cintron couldn't hurt him at all.
I have actually, I said that Margarito should be banned from Boxing and his record wiped from the books.
Cintron fought Margarito scared well so did Cotto, Cintron is such a supposed vaunted hitter yet look at what Mosely did? should a big guy like Cintron with dynamite in his fists have crushed Margo? I just dont know? but hell we are stuck with em and well I root for the guy regardless
Cintron hurt himself with the way he behaved in the Martinez fight. A lot of people were disgusted with seeing him whining about being knocked out by a clean punch, and then afterwards when he knows he should have lost the fight.
Whoever thinks Miguel Cotto's loss to Margo should be a win is an idiot. Margarito's career is tainted and almost every fight will be questioned including the ones with Cintron. I thought most people agreed on this.
