Kermit Cintron's Many Appeals to the Ref . . .

    were ALL unwarranted and, not to mention, unsightly. The only fouls that Margarito committed during the course of the bout were several low blows. Amamzingly enough, the legitimate fouls Cintron did not protest yet the non-fouls he did and, fortunate enough for him, had a gullible enough referee to entertain them.

    All of that "hitting behind the head" and "hitting on top of the head" stuff was caused only by Cintron's defensive posturing that left only those areas exposed when he was doubling over as if he were preparing to hurl on Margarito's shoes. His poor defense was the source of his complaints not an errant assault by Margarito. The referee had absolutely no business entertaining Cintron's bull**** and should have been crucified for warning Margarito (about a non-foul) right smack dab in the middle of a SERIOUS assault.

    I must also take issue with Margarito's corner for not showing enough awareness to make a case for their fighter to the referee in between rounds. Somebody in that corner ought to be able to speak English and tell the ref that Margarito is not rabbit-punching and, furthermore, that the ref is doing a poor job by claiming Margarito is. Had this fight continued longer than it did I could see at least one unwarranted point deduction being assessed to Margarito and worse yet perhaps even a disqualification.

    In summation, referees ought to know the rules to the sport which they're officiating. Is that too much to ask?

    P.S. To Kermit Cintron or any one of his handlers: if you're reading this tell Kermit to man up and quit crying like a little ***** in the ring. This is boxing, not ballroom dancing. You make your appeals to the referee in between rounds or during w/o turning your back on your opponent leaving yourself open to get walloped. "Gentlemen, protect yourselves at all times. Good luck and let's have a good, clean fight."

    Kermit just does not have the mental make up.....I mean it was obvious if he stayed outside he would eventually get to Margo but he just let him in so easy. Marg just ate his ass up....I do admit Marg had about 5 or 6 low blows that Kermit never complained about,,,why was he focusing on the back of the head shots???

    Yeah he was acting like a little ***** just like i said he would. He has no heart.. He's like a playground bully.. He goes and bullies people and knocks them on their ass but as soon as another bully bullies him he folds like a lawn chair.

    The ref didn't do anything wrong. Cintron was the one bending down.

    When you do that, naturally you'll get hit on the back of the head as you have a frothing wrecking machine trying to tear your head off any chance he gets.

    He's not going to bother pulling back his punches.

    Cintron's only chance was on the outside, which he used in the first round successfully....then for some reason he stayed on the inside where he has no business being with a guy like marg.

    It reminded me of Maskaev trying to evoke a DQ on Sam Peter earlier this year. Very unsavory tactics and something you'd only expect from someone like John Ruiz.

    I didn't see any difference between what Margo was doing and what Sam Peter does. Yet, on this board, I see Sam Peter get hella criticism for it.

    I know it. It was the same bull**** in the Maskaev - Peter fight. These guys try and get the ref to DQ Sam because they're downright scared of the man.

    I think Cintron and Wladimir are long lost brothers seperated at birth. As long as the beatings are being dished out everything is fine until the ass whipping comes right back at you. (ITS CALL PRESSURE)

    You can't deliberatly duck your head in the middle of an exchange and ***** about it when he connects. Cintron just does not have the mental strength and the physical strength to keep Margarito at a distance. He was not even trying to move him back. :shock:

    Wow, it appears as if Cintron has lost all respect on this board.

    Bull****, dude. Sam Peter went to prairie rabbit killing school to master his rabbit-punching. He will brutalize the back of your head whenever the opportunity arises.

    Margo hit a bent down Cintron, Peter hit a bent down Toney. Only difference is the reaction from this board.
