Wow, look how far Mark Kerr has fallen. I barely even recognize him. That's kind of heart breaking, actually. Back in the day, he was a beast. Now he's a tub. Poor guy.
I know - he looks horrible. It's hard to believe that at one time - he was one of the most feared fighters on the planet. He went from being a golden Adonis to a flabby Dionysus in a few years.
Mark never liked to get hit. I remember one Pride match where after the fist blow he just laid on a guy and did nothing. Bas was in his corner imploring him do do 'something'.
Thats what happens when you come off hormones. The guy was on boat loads of gear in his prime much like Coleman and Randleman. It probably gave him a huge mental edge aswell.
And what on earth is Taktarov and Kerr even fighting for? Every now and then Oleg seems to continue his random love affair with MMA and just fight for little to no reason in my opinion. Both guys were pioneers but its tragic to see how woeful they look now especially Kerr.
There was some speculation that Wandy didn't come to the UFC sooner because he had to 'clean out'. I asked my son if he thought Wandy could fight without the roids and he said, "Yeah, but maybe not without the rage".
Thats bull****. If your on hormones you can have that out of your system in days sometimes hours. Plus theres a ton of masking agents you can use if your count is too high.Either way im pretty sure Wandy was on hormones.
I really have no clue with steroids. I have no need to know. I'm not sure how well masking agents work though. I had a guy tell me he does drug testing before he hires people. A guy came looking for a job and he told him he wasn't hiring because he was tired of people swearing to him they didn't do drugs and he ended up spending $400 on a drug test and they would fail. This guy offered to put up the $400 for the test. He failed! I'm sure he though he was 'masked' too. :deal
