To be fair Foley took the fight on two days notice as well.
I haven't spoken to anyone who thought Foley deserved the draw.

I will have to re watch it, Watching love I thought a draw was ok (sure berridge dominated late, but what about the early rounds?)

The ref helping Foley up looks a bit suss. I'll watch it again this afternoon

I thought Berridge deserved the win and was ashamed that he didnt get the decision as I felt he was robbed.

I agree it was a robbery those one eyed commentators were acting like Berridge was ready to go after every little tap. Berridge never looked in trouble, maybe the judges were listening to the commentary.

Berridge out landed Foley in every round i am pretty sure. Cant see foley winning anything

I hope the rematch is at 175 in NZ, Foley wont last next time

Foley was out! even if you view the youtube timer which is out by 1 second, the referee grabs Foleys gloves and assists him in standing upright when it should have been 10, counted out and waved off, he did not make the count and was assisted by the referee.

NSW boxing hang your heads in shame, Craig Walller, stop sitting on your smug hands and do something, clean up your house, it stinks and its dirty!

1.10 Mainevent timer - Count starts

0.59 Mainevent timer - Referee Anthony Shipley grabs gloves while Foley is bent over and assists him in standing upright.

    What a farce!

Referee Anthony Shipley says 8, then grabs Foleys gloves. This is the 0.59 mark and hits the 0.58 mark in standing Foley upright.

1.10 is when Foley goes down, i would say 1.11 but we can say 1.10 to round it off and allow the count to begin. He should have been upto the count of 11-12 when he grabbed Foleys gloves not 8. Can this **** count? do they test these referees to make sure they can and are not slow? Were bets placed on this fight?

We claim to be a country that has a motto of Fair Go, the Australian way, but this is not fair go. Its a disgrace. Unfortunate that its a boys club because Craig Waller will do nothing as he has been doing so for the past few yrs.

I think Foley is going to have another loss on his record soon! ;) if NSW boxing is competent this will be over turned and the fight will be awarded to Berrage by TKO.

You do know it doesn't matter how long the timer is, it's down to the ref's count. See Tyson-Douglas.

Just because it occurs 21 yrs ago doesnt mean its right Leon. He was flat on his back. When should the count start? when he begins to get up? lol

What about being assisted in standing up right? never seen that occur in any fight when a fighter has been knocked down and a count has been applied. The count also starts Leon as soon as his bum touches the canvas, the count is supposed to be picked up by the referee from the person counting at ringside.

A protest would argue that not only was the count long but Foley was also assisted in standing upright when he should have been counted out.

Pretty much an open and shut case this one is Leon ;)

What a coincidence, Ty carrying on about one of Linc's fighters getting a favourable decision.

The only two rounds clearly won were the last two by Berridge. The first 4 were close.

I don't believe Berridge should've been deducted a point without a warning first. And it wasn't the ref's job to help Foley into an upright position at the end of his count. Shipley's a waste of time.
