    TERRIBLE workout.
The diet is pretty out of touch, too.

    Why so much isolation?

Or you could just do squats...

    Bench press and chinups...

    Deadlift and pullups...

    Overhead press...

    Bull****.

There is some truth to what mr.small is saying though. I'm not eating chicken 3 times day. There are other protein substances. The oatmeal is good and you can take a whey protein shake for extra protein which is 24g without milk and 32 with milk. There is no fruit in that diet and everyone should still aim for 3 cups of vegetables, 2 cups of fruit, 5OZ minimum of grains, 5OZ minimum of meat, 3 cups of some type of milk along with a multivitamin everyday. My critique for the workout as well: MONDAY - why do all that **** when you can just do some good old fashioned Heavy Squats with Barbells or Dumbbells for the same effect. TUESDAY - why not just do bench press with pushups instead of the bodybuilding workout? You don't need to isolate biceps, they'll get worked from doing bent over rows and pullup variations. WEDNESDAY - not all that bad, but the hamstring curls can go and replace one of the pulldowns with pullups. FRIDAY - shoulder/tricep only day is a little weird, but why not just do dips and military press. A lot of this **** just seems kind of pointless for a boxer. Sure it'll work, but it's a waste of time. You could have just gone heavy and done 1 exercise a day (IE: squats - monday, bench - tuesday, pullups or bent-over-rows wednesday, military press or cleans thursday, and stiff-legged deadlift friday) and it would have been more effective. The Abs get worked enough during a boxing workout.

Some very questionable advice imo. How are calf raises and bicep curls good exercises for a boxer? especially one in the lower divisions?

I'm all for boxers using weights btw, as long as they 'do it right'

I didn't say anything about the advice.
I meant the program, it's a bit bodybuildery-hypertrophy, not what I personally would reccomend for a boxer to use.
It just struck me as a bit dodgy.

The more I look at that diet, the more I think it's absolutely horrible.

It works well enough for hatton and to be fair bodybuilders are the kings of cutting weight with out losing muscle.
