Kesselr to Ward "I'm not afraid of anyone"

Honestly mate, I went to watch Kessler vs. Calzaghe. I'm a massive fan of Kessler, but I thought he was looking his meanest around 06-07.

I'd like to be proved wrong but I just think that all of those lay-offs may have had a big affect on him. Physically, he doesn't look quite as strong as he did, before he was weighing in at bang on 168 for all of his fights and looked like he was putting a good 10-15lbs on after the weigh in but now he looks like he's lost a slight bit of that raw power of toughness he had.

 

Fair enough. But i think Kessler is more experienced now and he is a better boxer now. In the Calzaghe fight he was injured and he was just looking for that single shot to put him to sleep and still it was a close fight. But i know Kessler is stronger now, maybe not faster. But saying he is over the hill is ****...

 

LOL! I would like to see the head butter go to Australia and destroying Mundine like Kessler did. Or to go to Wales in front of 70.000 and put on a hell of a performance injuried

 

Ward would win again, but it wouldn't be a bad fight.

 

Mundine was a bum and Kessler did no better against Calzaghe than Judah did against Mayweather.

Kessler is a robotic stiff who needed to go to war just to edge out a decision against Carl Froch. That's his level. He'll never come close to a Calzaghe or Ward.

Didn´t Ward have to war too? Kessler beat Froch more clearly than Ward - if you look how the judges had it.

There's been 2 champions during Kesslers career. Calzaghe and Ward. He's nothing but a belt holder.

Lol what? most had Froch winning 3-4 rounds at best in a fight where Froch was shut out for the first half of the fight. Ward boxed comfortably behind his jab and rarely was forced into exchanges.
