    Mikkel Kessler argubly 1 of the best supermiddle weights in the world, a great fighter with great boxing ability, he certainly gave joe calzaghe a fight but lost his composure through the fight, but recently his one loss seems to have had a negative effect on the viking warrior names have been flown his way but something always happens n those fights are history recently another name in miranda has appered and it states that kessler is backing out, which makes me wonder what is the problem in the miranda fight how hbo have shown intrest in mikkels next few fights, how bout these for sum fights n tell me the outcome in them

    Jeff Lacy (great fight and i belive kessler may stop him in later rounds would give kessler some more american audience)(boost his credibility)

    Jermain Taylor (a great fight of to boxers a jermain taylor moving up to supermiddle what better way to make ur name by beating the number 2)

    Lucian Bute (a fight in canada would be really big fight over in montreal)

    Sakio Bika (good fight again to make a name fight the win of the contender)

    Chad Dawson (great fight this would be saved it till last would be tremendous to watch these to fighters fight in the ring)

    Kessler rapes all those guys except Dawson.

    And that's not to say Dawson is ****-proof...he just isn't guaranteed ass.

    Bute or Bika would be pretty safe. Lacy is no longer relevant...he looked terrible against Manfredo, who Calzaghe sparked. Taylor would get him right back into the mix of things but that would be a pretty dangerous fight in my opinion. We don't know what Kessler will be like since his loss (I think he'll be alright though).

    So I think he should either fight an upcoming fighter like Bute or if he wants go straight after JT.

    He didn't say he was a SMW..

    I think he was just listing possible future opponents.

    Kessler would beat Chad Dawson IMO he is the stronger fighter.

    i knew that but thanks for pointing that out but ma point wasnt that ma point was how kessler has the chance to have all these great fights but his loss has effected him in a negative way there are so many fights avalible for kessler at this moment and he aint taking advantage of this situation!

    Miranda's been calling out everybody lately-sounds he needs to be taken seriously. Kessler doesn't need such a low ranked fighter as Miranda

    yea but there in the same position but i mentioned why the name miranda has been a usefull opponenet but why must kessler hold off the compertion when there is such great fights out there miranda been one of them!

    Kessler is the second best Supermiddleweight right now, and I disagree that he lost his composure against Calzaghe. In fact, I thought he was very well composed, just outfought. Look at him in the late rounds trying to turn things around. That is the mark of someone who is very aware of where he is in a fight, and is trying to make things happen.

    The thing is...if Kessler beats Miranda, what would it prove? Not half as much as Miranda thinks, that's for sure! If Kessler can get Taylor instead, or Wright, or any of the big American names at 175, he should. There's plenty of time for him to fight bottom Top 10 SMW fighters...he needs to cash in on his good performance against Calzaghe first...
