kessler aiming for pavlik(if he wins saturday)

this fight will be a classic.
my money would have to be on kessler though just because of pavlik having to fight in smw.
i really hope this happens.

Kessler vs Pavlik would be explosive. Maybe Calzaghe should learn from Kessler's example and grow a pair!

 

If Mikkel Kessler defeats Pavlik, would a Joe Calzaghe vs Pavlik fight still be neccesary?

 

Of course not BUT you'd have to respect Pavlik for chasing greatness, that's a rare trait in boxing.

Probably.
But I see no reason for him not to fight Kessler. Afterall, Kessler was handily defeated by and old slapper, and ducked a brutal SMW KO artist in Miranda. Figthing Kessler would be an easy stepping stone into the SMW division.

 

To be honest, it is a hard read with Arum. He changes his mind more than I change my underwear. But, given that, there is no indication Palik is ready to move up to SMW . at the moment, unless it is for a shot at Joe's titles. Then Kessler becomes a mention.

 

As long as the fight goes down it does'nt matter what he says now. It may all be a bluff for money. Calz. looked pretty ducky pre-Kessler and, to my surprise, it went off. I'm going to let this thing play itself out before I make any conclusions.

I would rather see Pavlik vs Kessler than Calzaghe :yep
