Agee, it's great to be a boxing fan. I understand all of it. I know it's fun to read between the lines but I've read so much inaccurate **** talk about respectable fighters that I try to get all the facts before I pile on. FYI, I don't think Kessler ducked Miranda, I think his promoter was trying to line up a championship bout and use Miranda as a fall back fight, but the negotiations blew up in his face.

Would be an excellent fight. I would love to see this. I pick Kessler.

Teach Sartison some defense and he is definitely not bad, not bad at all. As of now his arms are hanging down way too much though. It'll be interesting to see if he comes out swinging like a true bar fighter hoping for a lucky punch.:think

Well, I can call Pavlik out too! Kessler doesn't really have a much better at getting a shot at him this year than I do to be honest unless he wants to make 160. I can't. ;)

So, call out a guy one weight class below that you figure won't move up to face you in the near future. Guts? Let him face Miranda first.

Without the Calzaghe fight Top Rank will most likely go back to Plan A:

Rubio, the WBC mandatory in September in Ohio.

Abraham, title unification in AC or Vegas in January 2009. Originally this fight was to take place in December 2008, but HBO did not have a TV date for them until January.

Pavlik moves to 168 after he KO's Abraham.

I have always believed the WBA offeres Sturm to Mundine for vacating as quickly as he did. Someone posted seeming to have a little inside info that talks between Sturm and Mundine are in the works. If Mundine can make 160, and if Mundine can fight at 160, and if Mundine can take the belt from Sturm, you think he might want to try Pavlik? He certainly wanted NO part of Kessler again.
