Hes the real deal no doubt. He has some very good skills and hasnt put a foot wrong so far in his career. Im fairly confident Calzaghe will beat him, but regardless of the result there is no way Kessler should be written off as an overrated bum. He will dominate the division for the next few years, win or lose against Calzaghe.

He is only overrated, he won't be a bum until he loses to Joe, then he will be downgraded and then the public will find somebody new to claim that Joe is ducking, then some fighter Joe beat up will predict Joe to lose, the public will take this info as gold, start the hope train, only to have it derailed and the cycle start over.

Actually, you are wrong there. The day a fight is made, especially where one of the fighters is undefeated, the fighter that made said fight (in this case JC) is ducking every single other top 10 fighter in his weight class. Should JC win the fight with Kessler, the correct response is twofold: a. Because JC is ducking everyone else, the fight proved nothing; and b. Aside from proving nothing, the fight did expose significant flaws in JC's game that will be significantly taken advantage by the first man he can't duck.

I agree. JC is much too experienced and talented to be a punching bag.
