No maybe im saying Team Palle is to blame I should really just be asking you yes or no questions, it would help you out more
The way i see it is like this , kessler wanted to fight Mundine for a belt "In this case a plastic replica of Calzaghe's proper belt " so as when Joe drops the Real belt Kessler will be infront of the cue being the "Regular title" Holder , it matters not who had the belt ie Mundine as kessler was coming for it anyway . kessler will be the man @ S/Middle whenever Joe retires so it matters not that Mundine Ran down to middle rather than face Kessler , Mundine is THE MAN indeed , Forever known as the RUNNING MAN now .. Kessler will destroy whoever @ S/Middle unless his name is Joe Calzaghe .
I agree entirely with this Leon.:deal Smart move by Mundine. He looked like a midget compared to Kessler. Much better suited to MW IMO. But I will still put **** on him for running like a girly man from kessler.:yep
i dont know what to make of this, pissed of that mundine hasnt stepped up since green, wasting time that he doesnt have. i think fighting solimon will keep his speed and reflexes sharp for future bouts regardless of how meaningless the fight is.try to think of mundines decision to strip himself of the belt and sidestep kessler as risk vs reward, what happens if he loses to kessler? high probability, back to league,if he steps down to middleweight, the risk is less ,the rewards the same or more with all the bignames at middle. mundine has a good chance of beating all the middles and claiming a title at middleweight because of his speed and power, and without the size disadvantage. even mundine knows kessler is way to big a risk at this stage of his career, theres no bouncing back for mundine if he gets ktfo at 33 by kessler, smart move by the mundine camp, no point in ending mundines career if you have the option to extend it. kessler is a monster, mundine has the ability to beat him but it JUST AINT WORTH THE RISK.:yep
He looks less intimidated against smaller fighters natural middle weights like Sammy then the larger SMW's. I think he will do very well at MW.
Team Palle is to blame for mismanaging Kessler's career. Mundine is to blame for ducking Kessler, after he called him out!:deal Big difference! Mundine's mnagement is doing the best they can to get Mundine the best risk/reward fights...and Choc laps it up, gleefully, even if he has to lie to his supporters and talk a lot of **** when the **** hits the fan...:-( :-( :-(
This is common practice in boxing mate. Kessler, Mundine, Calzaghe, Green, ect have all lied to the public/supporters. Take your head out from under the sand, and learn to take whatever boxers say to the media with a pinch of salt.
When did Kessler call out a fighter and say that fighter was ducking him and when that fighter did his very best to fight him and the sanctioning body mandated Kessler to fight that fighter, he ducked him?:huh When did Calzaghe do that?:huh ...Not sure about Green...
Team Palle is to Blame yet Warren is not atsch Can you see the pt i have been trying to make for the past 20 posts, actually forget it you've answered it in your own way. Love how you've written mismanaged Kesslers career like it has been a bad one.
Warren was to blame; you can argue otherwise till you're blue in the face, but that doesn't mean Calzaghe wasn't to blame for the direction his career was going in. Just like Mundine is to blame for the direction his career is going in.
I said that they've all lied to the media/fans. 99% of boxers do this though, just some much more than others.
