Mikel is at fault here that can't be denied. If he beats stieglitz then unifies against bute all is forgiven

Kessler is a big seller and an ppv attraction in Denmark as well.. yet he left his country to defend his belt in the UK, USA, Australia...
Lucy just don´t want to fight him under fair terms because he knows he cannot beat someone like Kessler toe to toe. he needs his own officials and his own boxing contest rules in Montreal so that he can rob Kessler off at the end no matter how bad he got trashed. Lucy just has the mindset of those Romanian pickpocket gangs that steal around all over in Europe. he probably doesn´t even know its wrong..

There are lots of reasons why fights don't happen. One fighter ducking another is somewhere near the end of the list of probabilities as to why.

Occasionally you get a guy who gravitates toward weaker comp, and exclusive situations,
(fights only on their own terms, etc). They are usually easy to spot. Kessler isn't one of them.

Bute gets accused of being this, but I honestly think he would have had some bigger fights, and more worthy opponents by now had the Super 6 not tied up so many of the top guys. That being said, I think he s danger of having the label stick if he doesnt get some of these guys in the ring and soon. If that means he has to temper his demands, maybe he should do so.

i totaly accept that and respect it, the problem was all the hype of kessler coming to montreal to see not only bute but rene saint juste as his tune up fight, he clearly said ill beat him anywhere at any time, and then sourland did a 180, that is where all this bitching started, i truely believe kessler is not afraid of bute and would love to fight him anywhere and at any time so please dont accuse me of being a kessler hatter.

Kessler saying that means nothing. Nothing at all.

Because Bute would have exactly the same oppinion. Don't you agree? Any top boxer (well most..) has this attitude. Kessler certainly has and he has more than words to show for it - he has fought more big fights abroad than any other 168er (only Froch comes close).

The ones who make the deals are the promoters. They then have to negotiate and Interbox came up with a rather limited offer for Kessler to come to Canada which would land Kessler the same or less than gets in a smaller fight in Copenhagen. Apparently one argument in the 'offer' must have been "Bute is the belt-holder so...". So Sauerland goes.. "well, although Kessler is by far the more accomplished fighter, you are saying that because Bute has a paper-belt that somehow gives him some negotiation advantage?...... if that is the case then we cannot really make a deal until we put an end to that bull-****".

So now they are going to fight for Stieglitz' belt that Interbox apparently put so much value on. And with the belts even Kessler again is the more accomplished and the highest earner of the two. Maybe then negotiations can proceed in a more realistic way.

They both refused to fight outside their (adopted) hometown.

They are not scared of each other.

They are both scared of being screwed.

    Like most "visitors"

I dont think for a minute that Kessler is avoiding anyone.
Why the fight isnt happening I dont know, I would have to hear what both camps say, but Kessler hasnt ducked anyone ie
Beyer, Calzaghe undefeated away, Ward undefeated away, Mundine away, Froch undefeated, Andrade undefeated, Haussler away, Sartison undefeated.

Kessler has proven that he is happy to challenge for big fights, would Bute take the fight in Denmark?

Denmark is not a problem for Interbox, Sauerland is. The Sauerland family put the company to bankrupcy after they stole Lucas in Germany.

Bute's team don't want to go there.

Kessler's team don't want to go to Montreal.

    Key word: TEAM (trainer/manager/promoter)

I'm pretty sure the fighters are not scared
