This was the most promising fight for Kessler since before the Perdomo fight. He was fairly crispy and accurate. However, I thought he lacked a bit of speed still. But hopefully he can continue to add speed and some more straight punches back into his arsenal.... They seem to have trained hooks... which is ok, but Kessler should never abandon his trade-mark straight punches. Anyway - nice comeback fight!
uhhh yea and have Bute fight can after can for how long exactly? **** Stieglitz! the guy got trashed like a nobody by Librado Andrade. I'm talking a real beatdown you should watch that if you think he's legit. I say Kessler vs Bute next and it's about time too
Damn Bute needs to stop fightin Bums/Tomato cans of the month. He needs to step it up like the real elites!!
Neither guy seems willing to travel to the other guys country, bute can fight direll, I agree that its time to step up though.
Neither guy? Kessler fought the who-is-who abroad! Calzaghe, Mundine, Ward etc. Bute...... is obviously the one reluctant (to say the least) to travel. But - it is his turn.
And yes, BUTE desparately needs to step up and test himself at the highest level. However, that is not Kessler's problem, and if he feels he needs a couple of other fights before Bute, or does not want to travel this time... then he has earned that right. He has more than paid his dues with regards to taking big fights abroad. Bute - on the other hand needs to step up.
