Taylor, Jones, and Calzaghe had/have one thing in common and that was good handspeed, which undoubtly troubled B-Hop in their encounters. I dont think Kessler has enough speed to cause Hopkins much trouble.

Also, Kessler is basic compared to B-Hop, Hopkins just needs to do what he did against Pavlik, and neutralize Kessler's one - two combonation, by moving to left so Kessler doesnt get a chance to throw a solid right.

I think Mikkel struggles with old Popkins unfortunately. I see an 8-4 decision for the old man.

I think Kessler has finesse. He's lovely to watch, clean and precise.

Give us your analysis of the fight, not just "Kessler is more technical than Pavlik and he would win."

I stated more in my post. Kessler is a full blown SM and a very strong one at that. He proved coming to the UK that he could perform on the big occasion in front of a hostile crowd. Pavlik just didn`t come up to the mark. Kessler would give Hopkins fits IMO.

I think it would be like Calzaghe= Kessler would be confused the first 3-4 rds, then would get better timing, etc etc Hopkins can do that to anyone

Kessler has the basic euro style that would get broke down by B hop. He has nothing else to his game. NOTHING. He just comes in straight lines, like Pavlik. Lives off of his 1,2 like Pavlik. PERIOD. End this dumb assed euro thread.

I love all these posts about how "anyone with half a brain knew Pavlik was too one-dimensional to beat Bernard". LMAO. Very easy to say after the fact. As I recall, the vast majority of posters on this board were picking Kelly, mostly by KO.

But these crack pots were claiming Joe Calzaghe was scared of Pavlk and would be destroyed by him. In other words the loon platoon.

ha ha yeah where has all that talk gone? You know what actually surprises me, is how many people on here truly beleive that Bernard won the fight with Joe. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a big Hopkins supporter...and I beleive that if he came in with a different fight plan, and more agression he would stand a good chance of winning the re-match. However, I also think its pretty tough to score the fight for the guy who was hugging, spoiling, faking low blows, and throwing 20 punches per round, no matter how "clean" they were.

Yeah and the ref Cortez who was all over Ricky Hatton like a rash for holding let Hopkins away with holding all night long. Didn`t hear many objections to Hopkins hugathon on ESB.

Kessler is solid but predictable, he would also get schooled.
