Miranda got stopped by two of the most vicious punchers in the game today, Pavlik and Abraham.

Much better than some of the guys that has stopped Berrio, including journeyman Henry Porras and complete bum Eric Mitchell.

Pacquiao was knocked out by some bum named Rustico Torrecampo and some guy with a padded record named Medgoen Singsurat.

I guess he's a bum. Hatton and Mayweather shouldn't waste their time with that fraud!!!!

    :tong

Listen, Berrio is an action fighter. He is a decent boxer and he has a huge punch. Either he knocks you out or you knock him out. Only one of his 33 fights went to the distance. All the other 32 fights ended by knock out.

Sure I'd rather see Kessler fight Taylor, Bute, Hopkins or Dawson but Berrio would make a pretty good fight while it last. Berrio will come to fight and try to take Kessler's head off and he will most likely get knocked out in spectacular fashion.

Sounds like a good fight to me.

He had to fight Haussler right away. Hausslers management forced the fight. Haussler was ranked 2# at the time Kessler fought Sartison for the vacant belt. They argued that Haussler legitimately should have had the titleshot and therefore they were able to force the fight. This was not an ordinary mandatory defense you should get your facts straight before you shoot your mouth...

Most sanctionning bodies forces the new champion to make an immediate mandatory defense when they win a vacant title.

Same reason why Froch has to fight Taylor next.

Perhaps not quite. Because at that time a belt had higher priority. I was partly on "your side" then though, that is, I would have liked to see Kessler fight Miranda and try to make it big in the States. Then I saw Miranda against Abraham and the poor way in which Miranda sucked up heavy blows from Abraham had me put Miranda way down my rating of fighters. Miranda carries a glasjaw that Kessler would probably expose even more than Abraham. I just don't see Miranda survive Kessler´s trademark laser accurate power punches.

Miranda is an easy win for Kessler. Everyone knows that. That's why Palle ****ed up bigtime by not giving Kessler this easy payday/easy route to recognition in the States.

Miranda = 1000000x more recognizable than Haussler and Sartison combined

Are people discrediting Abraham for beating Miranda? No? Then why would they for Kessler?

It's easy to say that now that Miranda got KTFO by Abraham.

Back when the fight was being talked about a lot of people thought Miranda had an excellent chance of winning. He was that huge guy with a one punch knock out power that was going to run over the division. Remember that Banks KO? Miranda was hyped like no other.

    Now he's a bum....

My guess is his true valor is probably somewhere in the middle.

Kessler didn't pull out of the Miranda fight for Sartison though, did he?

He pulled out to enforce his status as mandatory contender for the WBA belt against Mundine.

Mundine vacated, at which point the fight was offered to Miranda again, this time for the WBA title (Palle had the WBA bump Miranda in their ratings to make it possible). Miranda was already in negotiations with Abraham at that point and preferred to stay with that fight.

After that, Sartison was brought in.

This is a joke list. The question you were supposedly answering was 'who could Kessler fight who was better than Berio and would take the fight'.

You just wrote a list of all the fighters at 168 who you could think of. Most of them aren't demonstrably better than Berio. And you have no idea whether any of them are actually interested in fighting Kessler.

The inclusion of Mundine exposes this most acutely. You think Mundine wants to fight Kessler now? Mundine dumped his title rather than face Kessler when Kessler was his mandatory less than six months ago!

I seriously think hes fighting Green. Why would he go to the states to fight Berrio? He could fight anyone at home and make more money. The only way that would make sense would be if it was on the undercard of Taylor-Froch, and I doubt that will happen. Green or maybe Glen Johnson or Bika sounds far more likely. Please just don't make it Codrington.

At least Kessler is trying to make a name for himself in amerika by fighting there in march.

The truth is nobody wants to face him at this stage risk/reward.

Kessler is only known for his loss againt calzaghe in amerika. taylor Hopkins, Pavlik wont touch him yet, and please no more Miranda bull****.

Plz listen to the man and stop spamming about Miranda

Well, that could easily change. If Miranda goes on exposing his big time glasjaw I garantee people will stop talking about the Abraham win. After the first time Miranda got hit hard against Abraham Miranda looked more like a guy coming out of a bar with too much alcohol in his blood than a true fighter. Yes, Miranda did say he felt tired on that day but come on! Most people slightly interested in boxing would give Miranda a punchers chance against Kessler, nothing more.
