Yeah it really is fairly easy..Were have seen it many times, were an overhyped pressure fighter with limited skills have been outclassed. Im actaully leaning towards Mundine who is a pretty skilled fighter but fights scared all the time. Not really much to pick from when it comes to Kesslers BEST WIN.
Sometimes the best wins are looked at regarding time and WT wins. The smashing of Sacia for Kesslers WBA title was a beat down...ok Sacia not all that great but first world title might be Kesses answer. Mundine is fast but Kessler looked huge next to him and that was a great win. First place for me was the shut down of Buyer round 3 KO...it took Buyer a few years to get back in the ring after that loss. Andrade was not ready for Kess. Kesslers best fight...thats easy...Joe....he almost kO'ED Joe with some great uppercuts but as it turns out Joe had a great chin.
Pretty much sums it up. At the time he was a part time fighter. He worked a regular day job. Same with Glen Johnson. They got better when they could do boxing 100%. I think that needs to be taken into consideration with a lot of fighters.
Agreed. Maybe not MUCH closer, but it wouldn't be as dominant of a victory. Andrade's defense has improved leaps and bounds since then, as has his offensive arsenal.
Kessler put a beating on Andrade and that's his best win...i think he should go up to 175 and fight Dawson...
Come on man Mundine is famous for doing nothing except looking good against C- fighters and getting KTFO by Sven Otkke. I am stunned by the amount of respect Mundine gets on ESB compared to proven champions like Hatton and Dawson.
Good points, and the Andrade win seems to look better (especially as the others have pointed out, because of the manner) and better each time Andrade gets in the ring. He's definitely improving and damn near had Bute.:yep
Disagree, pipe.. sure he had Bute at the end, but it certainly was never a reflection of the rest of the fight... referee: Marlon Wright | judge: Alex Levin 117-109 | judge: Benoit Roussel 115-111 | judge: Mickey Vann 115-110 Bute, who isn't that great, imho, simpy outboxed him...
Bute would beat Taylor and current Hopkins. In other words except Calzaghe, Bute is better than anyone Hopkins and Taylor have met for years.
