Kessler " bring them on "

He looked very powerful the other night.

Green has not been sparkled like that before, he really got put the **** out.

 

All from LHW or SMW ? where does he plan to stay at ?

 

He still has some to give, all depending on who he fights though.

 

I am really interested, how much money Kessler made yesterday.
How much money can be made at the "just one small step behind world championship" level??

 

Best of luck to him, but beating Green doesn't convince me he won't fall victim to the best of 168-175. Ward, Dirrell, Dawson, Hopkins, etc, they'd all have him. Him and Pascal would be a great fight, though.

 

Him and Bute are the biggest cash cows from 168.... just saying.

 

Kessler vs Froch II (whether Carl win or loses, it doesn't matter) makes sense for both guys imo.

It's a very winnable fight for both of them (slight edge towards Froch, Kessler didn't look great against Green imo), would be a nice little payday for them both in either Denmark or Nottingham and it's a chance for Froch to gain revenge. They're both good mates aswell and their first fight was fantastic. I don't know any boxing fan that wouldn't like to see this.

He needs to avoid a Ward rematch and a fight with Hopkins imo. Kessler's inside game is poor and Hopkins would eat him alive imo, styles make fights.

 

In my view, Kessler would be a big favourite in a rematch with Froch - provided he is rust and injury free. He beat Carl handidly the first time while coming off a loss, serious injury and a change in trainer and he would likely do better now that he has three wins on the spin, two years with the new coach and the injuries are hopefully a thing of the past.

I'd be interested in the fight - especially if Froch somehow gets past Bute and has a belt. Otherwise the winner of Stieglitz vs Abraham is a natural choice for a huge in-house Sauerland event (and an easy Kessler win, imo) or barring that he could be at 175 what Cotto is at 154 - the naturally smaller but more skilled cat among the pigeons. I think he could beat the current version of Hopkins and possibly Cleverly and Cloud who are a bit raw. Hopkins might be too big and fast even though I believe him to be mentally and technically inferior to Mikkel.

 

He definitely didn't beat Carl handily the first time, it was a very, very close fight which Al Beristein and Press Row both scored for Froch.

Kessler would school both Stieglitz and AA and either would be a good payday for him. Cleverly is pretty ****, Kessler beats him handily and he'd beat Cloud aswell. He's fought pretty much everyone in his career and i hope he gets a couple of good paydays and retires with his eyesight and health in good condition.

 

I thought he beat Froch clearly. It was pretty close but not overly so. I didn't read many press reports that had it for Froch. I remember Dougie Fischer from the ring wrote "I thought Kessler beat Froch handidly"- I was actually using his words. Otherwise I agree with everything you said. Don't know much about Cleverly, but the little I've seen he looks like he needs to develop some more before taking on someone like Kessler. Still, it would be a good fight - as would the Bute-Froch winner.

 

That "bring them on" bears no credibility. First of all, Kessler has yet to record a win against true elite boxers. His last decent win dates back April 2010, a home-based questionable decision against (the overrated) Froch. Since then, hes has fought tomato cans and avoided systematically Stieglitz and Bute.

 

You can't fault Kessler's heart or his resume. Both are solid.

 

I think Kessler vs Froch/Pascal Cloud winner/Ward (not in America) would be good fights for various reasons.

Stiglietz would be nice cause we would maybe see Kessler pick up another belt but I think it would be pretty one sided.
