If it happens now - i pick Joe. (But you never know he might have become real old real quick. I guess we'll find out Nov 8).

id like to see it, but calzaghe every time. i rate kessler real high though. he smashes anyone else at 168-175 apart from hopkins.

I gotta go with Calzaghe again.

It wasn't a landslide victory the first time around, but it was clear enough; at the moment I can't say that Joe has slipped enough or Kessler has improved enough to bridge the gap.

Ask me again after the Jones fight; may give you a different answer.

I think Kesslers the best of a mediocre bunch Chad Dawson aside.

I've said many times I think Kessler would win in 2009 for a number of reasons. There is no chance in hell of it happening unfortunately.

kessler has improved a bit. by this i mean he has started to throw more body shots etc however this isn't enough because the improved kessler was present in the calzaghe fight. this could be seen by him throwing punches like those sick uppercuts. his uppercuts were a shot peopel were saying he didnt have.

anyway, he still loses to calzaghes versatility.

kessler still hasn't improved his technical flaws like rocking backwards and forward. calzaghe made him pay for his head being open, him being off balance etc kessler gets away this against everyone else.

The first fight was close. If you take away Calzaghe's home advantage and factor in the fact that Kessler should have improved a bit there's no reason why he shouldn't win.

Was it close? I call it 9-3 or 8-4. It was very competative but a clear win.

No chance it could be 9-3. 8-4 is about right, maybe even 7-5.

I had it 115-113 watching live - on review I made it 116-112.

I felt it was a very good fight to watch actually, no real need for a rematch though because Joe was a clear winner.
