    FFS!!!

All the Kessler-ites are relying on JC's body langage in youtube interviews :rofl

Does that reek of scraping the bottom of the barrel or what?

Kessler was fighting journeyman with crappy records up until about 5 fights ago, Calzaghe has been fighting the best fighters at 168 since 1997. You cant even compare records, Calzaghe has fought MUCH better opposition than Kessler has.

Yeah, I agree, and I was about to post it, but thought : "Why, bother - they are gonna say, he is just building up the fight".

Anything you say won't remove the fact that Bika and Manfredo were pitifully chosen fights after the destruction of Lacy.

Kessler keep on fighting better and better opposition - JC rollercoast through his picks(and only 1 mandatory).

Different situations though - Calzaghe has been at the top for 10 years and has been seeking the big money fights for at least 3 years now.

Kessler is fairly new on the scene as a world champ and had to consolidate to get some recognition on the world scene.

Regardless, I don't understand all this pissing contest stuff - the fight has been signed, why can't we all just be happy about that and wait to see who wins it? That's what I'm doing.

And he has totally failed, just like he has failed to get the big fights besides Lacy and Eubank arguably Robin Reid.
He is aiming at beating all the champs of the division, and he has succeeded and defended in style.
    :thumbsup.

When I come to think of it - didn't Markus Beyer anihilate Woodhall?

pre glen catley beyer boxed a technically good fight v woodhall and deserved the win.

after glen catley , beyer IMO was never the same fighter, despite his title defenses.

Ah bull****, the show isn't over yet - what do you think a win over Kessler will do for him?

It opens the door to the mega-big $$$ fights in the US vs the likes of B-Hop, etc.

Yes, but the Kessler fight probably only happened because Kessler was calling out, was unduckable, and FW ran out of options to earn the big cash.

Kessler will be JCs last stop.

Based on it was the limelight of his career after 10 years of pro boxing - in fact the last. Furthermore Beyer beat him just before JC.

Prime Robin Reid gives Kessler a hell of a fight IMO he was a very underrated fighter. Kessler has never fought a fighter of the level of Calzaghe, Eubank was a different style but certainly even at that stage in his career the same level as Kessler. Kessler has never faced a slick southpaw the level of Joe, everyone Calzaghe has ever fought has said the same **** Kessler is now, and all of them dont deliver in the ring. Kessler will be no different.

This is the biggest fight to be made though, the two best SMWs in the world today battling it out. Its gonna be awesome!

my arguement was that beyer after being ko`d by catley made beyer a bit gunshy/more cautious /change his style and not be prepared to punch of the front foot and be aggressive and take the fight to opponents like he was pre catley.

so beyer IMO was not the same fighter as he was before the catley defeat.

your arguement is that woodhall was also not the same fighter he was before beyer beat him on points.

what was it avbout the calzaghe v woodhall fight led you to this conclusion.

what did woodhall do differently in the calzaghe fight that he did not do earlier in his career.?

not sure of woodhall`s age when he fought calzaghe , i would guess 30/31 ? or was he older.
