Calzaghe had no intention to fight Kessler. Calzaghe had only focus on the US-fighters. The pressure from the boxing fans made that fight happen. Calzaghe after wards is proud of the fight, and it could very well be his masterpiece.
The situation is quite similar now. Boxing fans in generally: If Kessler cant get a fight against the US bigs, and Taylor wont fight Froch - now the time ones more is set to make for feel the boxing fans demands - a fight for 168 unification - Kessler vs Froch.

 

If Kessler is as good as everyone says he is, fighting Dawson at 175 really shouldn't be a problem. Sadly he refuses to do it.

As far as the Kessler rejecting Lacy Im running short on time so i will find that later. However it was after Calzaghe pulled out of the first fight with Lacy after he broke a bone in his hand fighting Ashira. Kessler was offered the November date with Lacy on Showtime and they claimed he was injuried after his fight with Mindine and said they would offer up some other guy Murkussen.

 

Kessler - Mundine was postponed for a month because Kessler suffered a back injury. He wasn't at his best for that fight due to the same injury. So if he pulled out of the Lacy fight on that accord it would be totally justified.

 

the miranda debate is old news, and has been discussed.. kessler never rejected miranda or ducked him.. we can discuss it or agree to diasagree, i can assure you, that i will not acknowledge kessler ducking miranda..

and in regards to kessler having an injury, its well known he has serious problems with his back.. nevertheless kessler has been chasing unifications fights with consistency..

regarding the dawson statements, they came from mogens palle and not kessler himself, so what palle says or do, i wont blame mikkel for.. im under the impression that mikkel would fight anyone in the 160-175 div..

 

Excuse after excuse...Im done with this, many of you guys just will never face FACTS...Facts are Kessler calls out alot of fighters and then when they tell him to come on he backs down and hides behind his promotional team, lets sh*t cool off then starts up again, "Oh no one will fight me, Oh I can get any fights"


Going round and round is getting old, and im not a hamster so its boring...OK you guys are right, no one wants to fight Kessler because he is the best fighter in the world, no other fighter, active, can hold his jock...There all busy fighting each other while ducking Kessler and being scared off by his outstanding HOF like efforts vs the likes of the GREAT Sartison, and sure hall of famer haussler...Why would anyone think that fighters would dare fight such a great fighter like that....I mean damn, surely they wouldnt think they stand a chance.

 

Dawson was never going to fight Kessler or Calzaghe. Him taking the the Tarver rematch right now shows that. Chicken Chad was just all talk and as Glenn Johnson said Chad is shaking in his boots. He's been hurt in several fight and just about got KO'd so he is trying to cash out before he gets knocked out. He also said after the Johnson fight he would fight at 168 for a big fight then after the Tarver fight he will only fight at 175 now. He's a little punk liar at this point.

 

I think Froch is the most viable opponent. Has he commented ion whether he wants to face Kessler?

It would problably be suicide so he might not be keen, on the other hand he actually seems to think he could beat JC. Which imo is a bit delusional.

Mikkel was going 4 the wba title insted of Miranda a second class fighter Miranda is being k.o by people like king arthur and pavlik, can you emagine what kessler would do to him.Miranda is a big mouth like froch ,well froch can bang a litle but isent by fare the boxer kessler is,kessler was junior european champ as an amatur,maybe people think he is robotic but go to youtube and see the fight kessler-Andrade, Kessler- Siaca im sure you would agree with me that hes a world class fighter.
Belive me kessler is trying to do everything to break thru in U.S (thats hes biggest dream) and he isnt afraid of anybody(he went to wales infront of 55000 spectator) so dont call him a ducker.
I allso belive that any pro boxers isnt afraid of anybody if they where ,the ovius have chosen the wrong profesion.
