Turns down Miranda, and Dawson then says he can't get nobody to fight him.:-(

If he fights another chump he is going to get huge grief on here...

It's complicated. However, rather than try to make it a title fight Kessler should just have gone ahead with it the first time. Letting the other guy think a little and watch some tapes seem to put them off. Hopkins said yes to fight Kessler just before the Calzaghe fight, but then came back after having watched some tapes, and said "sorry, not interested". Kessler needs to get the deals signed asap.

 

hopkins fears being beaten by another white boy. kessler - hopkins never happen.

I am confused about the Dawson situation though. Someone needs to clear that up cause Dawson said he would fight kessler, palle said no and now we're stuck with Dawson-Tarver turd 2.

 

I think Dawson won't come down and Kessler won't go up. Reasonable for both UNLESS one starts saying the other won't fight him.

 

I hope Hopkins will turn out to be a man. Kessler has called him out repeatedly - Bernard needs to rise to the occasion.

Nah, the excuses are starting to very much wear thin, imo. Even hardened Kessler fans on here have stated they will not be very happy if he fights yet another can.

If people don't want to fight him he needs to go absolutely out of his way to make the big fights, that's what others do.

 

Lets all be honest, dawsons not fighting anyone under 38, he's already ducked a bunch of people, handed his belt away rather than man up, and now he wants to make a career of fight Tarver every 5 months.

Kessler suffers from being European, and teh bs politics that goes with it in America, had any American performed the way he had against Joe, he would be getting fights against anyone he wanted, but the Ameribums fear him.

He writes a ****ing Christmas card and you buy into his "nobody wants to fight me" spiel? He's too scary for the division? Then do what real fighters do - move up. Roy could have made 168 forever. He moved up because he was far and away too talented for the other SMWs - not because he had outgrown the divison. Mayweather could have fought at 140. De la Hoya, Trinidad, Pacquaio, etc., etc. If you are at the gym, and everyone your age sucks you find better comp. If that means you lose some of your edge so be it. Chase greatness. Don't write Christmas cards to "explain" why you keep looking across the ring at bums.
