Nothign like smiling at a guy before sticking the knife in his back lol

But Kessler is a gentleman, so i actually beleive him, i rememebr how full of praise he was for Calzaghe after their fight, and even tho he bitched about the headbutts against Ward, he was still all smiles afterwards on the showtime super six show, just seems like an all round nice guy.

Plus his mom is english, so he's gotta stick up for his fellow englishman right lol

Good lad. He knows what it feels like after the situation in Oakland, I don't think he would wish that level of bias on anybody.

Didn't Markus Beyer fight Kessler in Denmark a couple of years ago, complaining about the difficulty of boxing abroad? I think he flew home without bis belt but with a broken nose.

Froch fought Taylor in the US but IMO is somehow still regarded as a hometown champ. He can change things this Saturday.

A great sport, as usual. I just hope he hasn't gone soft, beause Froch certainly isn't going to be letting him off the hook if he catches him. That killer instinct needs to be 100% there.

I have no clue. I do however think that Mogens Palle, Mikkels promotor, at the time would have no qualms with putting all kind of obstacles in the way of his fighters opponent.
About the Kessler Beyer fight well Beyer got knocked out cold in the third. No controversy in the fight itself at all.

I think it was all the hassle he got at the airport, he wasnt used to it, he's used to catching a cab and being in the arena, all that frisking, and luggage checking in, and nonsense like that really threw him off his game.

And ontop of that nobody was quiet and civilised like they were in Germany, chanting rude obnoxious stuff, it was totally alien to him, boxing should be enjoyed when ppl are sat down with arms crossed, watching the sweet science in action, with lips sealed.

What home town robbery? Froch - Dirrell was a close fight which could have gone either way. The articles I read on the fight in Boxing News and The Ring both had Froch a winner.
As for Kessler - class act

Really? The fight I actually watched saw Dirrell robbed and the decision given to a so called champion who looked barely better than a drunken street brawler and landed virtually nothing on his opponent all night.
