I wouldn't have wrote that thread if Kessler was not accusing Bute about the small purse. Kessler should keep his mouth shut. I remember him smiling saying he would come to Montreal anytime to beat Bute's bottom, and now he is repeating over and over that the first offer meant that Bute didn't want to fight him.

I have no problem with him saying that he would prefer fighting Stieglitz at this moment, and fighting Bute after.

But my question his: What does he gain from all that talk against Bute while anybody without a pea instead of his sees what going on?

Lost all my respect to Kessler.

Bute team's only received ONE offer in the last 5 years ...

Bute has showtime with him, he has a belt and still, he only got ONE offer in the last 5 years.

... and people complain that he only fights nobodies ...:patsch

Here is the problem with kessler :

-Kessler (in mtl): I want to fight bute, im ready to fight him anywhere : mtl, US, denmark, anywhere !

-Kessler (2 months later) : Bute doent want to fight me because interbox's offer (1 dane crown or something) is ridiculous so we are not going to fight ...

A more appopriate answer would have been:

-Kessler (appopriate answer): We are going to fight stielglitz instead because he his lower risk / higher reward than Bute. We dont want to fight Bute anymore we didnt even dare to respond to their offer nor made one ourself ...

Thats it and you shut your viking mouth about Bute not wanting to fight you ...

A local fighter can duck another one. You are not, unfortunately for your ego, the one deciding who can use which word over here. You are the wannabe.

Dont worry about Loyal-Punch-Bag he often comes out with silly things.
He seems to not notice that Kessler is a 2 time WBA champ and 2 time WBC champ who has been willing to fight away in tough fights and has the best resume of any active SMW at this time.
It seems forgotten that Kessler should still really be the WBC SMW champ and relinquished his belt selflessly for a competition (S6).
Kessler has never ducked anyone and Wards next opponent is a Kessler victim.

    A question to Loyal-Punch-Bag.
Why do you call Steiglitz a paper champ?
Steiglitz has beaten undefeated champ Balzsay
    Former IBF champ Berrio
undefeated Gutknecht who is now LHW European champ.

Thats as good if not better than anything Dirrell has done and I doubt if he beat Steiglitz that you would class him as a paper champ?

I dont think Butes resume is as bad as many like to try and make out. Magee (who I have never liked or rated has a fair resume and is now WBA SMW int champ), but I cant disagree with what you are writing about Johnson.

He is a fighter with 15 losses coming off a loss. His record in his last 5 fights is 2-3-0, he has lost the last 6 world title fights he has been involved in and has a dreadful SMW resume

Just a note on G Johnsons SMW career -
In 13 SMW fights Johnson has lost 7 of them.
Johnson has lost at SMW to -

M Sosa who had 5 losses and 2 draws, and lost his next 2 fights after beating Johnson
Kiwanuka who had 3 losses and 2 draws, had lost his last 2 fights coming into his fight with Johnson and his fight after Johnson
Ottke 16-0 who in fairness was an outstanding SMW boxer
Vanderpool 27-1 who lost his next fight, but in fairness that was at MW to Hopkins and Vanderpool had a good run after
Branco 38-4-2 who was a world class SMW and became WBA LHW champ
Sheika who was 19-1 and lost his next fight, though in fairness that was to Calzaghe.
    Froch WBC champ

The SMWs that Johnson has managed to beat
Campas 3-20-4 coming off of only 2 losses and won his next fight
Watson 24-16-1, Johnson was his last fight
Renteria 9-23-5 coming in, whos last 10 fight record before facing Johnson was 0-8-2
Zimmerman 15-2-0 coming in, who had lost his previous fight and the one after
A Green 29-2-0 coming in and Johnsons biggest SMW victory

Its not impressive now is it. Please spare me the robbery talk.
If any rated SMW losses to Johnson it wont look good on their resume

    Kessler doesn't like fast southpaws.

Bute really does deserve to fight a boxer at Kessler's level versus one who is above, such as the S6 winner.
    The ideal matchup for Bute at this point in his uneventful career is one of the following;

    Bute Vs. Kessler
    Bute Vs Dirrell
    Bute Vs Author Abraham

Bute does not deserve to meet the S6 winner, nor does he deserve to meet an ATG like Hopkins. Because of his ducking everyone of note, he is only deserving of meeting S6 LOSERS, and even that would represent a tremendous step up in talent for the Romanian bum.

    For #ยค%& sake.

Hadn't we just laid that ridiculous story to rest?

No wonder Bute has so many haters when his fans call the fighter who has taken the most chances both in terms of opponents and traveling of ANY 168er..... a ducker.

And when Bute himself has never met a single top boxer and has never even once travelled at 31-32 years old.

    Hypocritical beyond belief.

    It is just beyond hypocritical.
