"Hopefully I will fight the mandatory title defence against Perdomo in June, as I’m in really good shape after a longer training-camp in Spain. Unfortunately it is out of my hands as I’m struggling with my former Promotor and Manager, however we should be able to find a solution in the nearest future.

I would love to fight Froch after the mandatory title defence. I know it would be a great fight as I believe that we both would bring something special to the ring. He’s a strong as an ox, but doesn’t seem to have any guards or head movement....He is strong and awkward but he is slow and open as a book. I think it would be a battle and I like battles"

I suppose it's nice to even hear something out of Kessler's camp after all the **** with his promoter.

Still fighting those **** mando's though. The governing bodies are ****s when it comes to mandatories.

A fair assesment of the Taylor fight in particular. I like and respect both Froch and Kessler a lot. I'd like to see them both win a couple more high profile fights and build this into a super fight for all the belts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
DEF (Kessler's legal team) find Palle's organization unacceptable. Bettina Palle's job was to represent Kessler in external promotions and sponsorship. DEF argues she has a conflinct of interest in being an advisor to Kessler and a part of team Palle, and that this is unacceptable in other sports (citing an example of a Brondby player who was advised by a man that brokered a deal between the two clubs).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
DEF's review of the contracts is that Palle only has one option, not the three they claim.

First option on 25 October 2008 was in accordance with Team Palle to fight Danilo Haussler.

Second option on 30 January 2009 to fight Mads Larsen. Kessler signed the contract but Team Palle did not agree on a deal with Larsen. Therefore they used the second agreement, as there are clear deadlines for the excercise of options in the contract.

Final option is Team Palle organize the mandatory against Perdomo that must be fought before 25 July according to the WBA.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regardless Team Palle has chosen to pursue Litigation charges against Kessler. Such a trial in court could take a long time but must be done. It seems Team Palle believe they can force Kessler to agree a deal this way, so they can dictate the terms. His lawyer claims it is digusting they try to destroy a sporting career, and it is not possible.

i dont get why any promoter would **** up a boxers career in that way? the bigger the fights the more money the promoter makes so it should work the other way around, shouldnt it? please fill me in.

That article reads like a legal case presented by Kessler's lawyers. I just had to shortern it down because I couldn't be arsed translating word for word.
