    it also uts into perspective Joe Calzaghe reign at supermiddle.

    Kessler is still a very good, technically capable fighter who beats a lot of guys. He still beats Froch and Taylor and has good shots at Abraham and Dirrell.

    He also had a pretty bad night last night. Couldn't establish his jab, failed to punish Ward for getting out of position, didn't engage with Ward when the opportunity was there. Not that it makes much difference; Ward probably beats him 8 times out of 10.

    Ward has the best headbutt I have ever seen. Holding, low blows, and what headbutts?! They are much better than any headbutt Holyfield ever had. Ward's referee sure helped him out. Could Ward have won without his referee, his hometown, etc.? I would love to see Ward fight Kessler in neutral territory, but Ward will only fight in his hometown, nowhere else. Why is that?

    Ward's billy goat huge butt was enough to knock out an elephant.
    Why did Ward have to cheat?

    Froch's style could win it for him, but how can anyone get around Ward's referee? Ward is a billy goat and that ruined his will. Ward won by head butt. I predicted this crap.

    I don't think Dirrell controls the range as well as Ward, and he's certainly not the same counter-puncher. I'd probably favour Dirrell's skillset overall (especially after seeing last night), but if Kessler starts establishing his punches early, he's not going to get walked over.

    Froch's style isn't winning him anything other than bar scraps and gift decisions. Kessler will take him out when he wants.
